As someone who writes about technology, one query you get all the time is regarding laptops. Most users are still befuddled about how to pick a good laptop, be it for work or for study.

I'm rating this laptop 5 of 5 but not without caveats. Skip to the bottom of my review for details. I bought this for myself as a gift, haha, to take advantage of the gaming performance and it did not disappoint.

Very happy with this laptop, it runs fast and smoothly with Photoshop, which is a major priority for me when buying a computer. Not only that but it feels comfortable and enjoyable to use.

Best laptop for price... A bit of heating issues while running heavy tasks.

Bought this laptop in hp world and i had initially thought of buying dell xps 15 9560 but due to product availability i wasn't able to purchase it. so i went for options and this laptop stood out from the bunch of other options available in the market.

The new HP Pavilion Power 15-cb077nr gets a refreshed look, a Kaby Lake processor, a Pascal graphics card and excellent battery life, but still remains affordable as compared to what competitors offer.

I bought the 14" version of this laptop and the screen cracked (my fault, it was dropped). I tried to go through Costco, but hadn't purchased the warranty (fair enough, completely understandable). Going through HP has been a nightmare.

Overall it is a good computer. But it is of cheap material- plastic. That is one negative. Superb specification. Computer is good for gaming and other engineering tasks due good graphics and fast procecesor.

Nice laptop for a good price. Would prefer a second hard drive. But added SD card for a bit of extra storage. It's classed as a gaming laptop. But you won't play modern game's on high settings with this one. But I have a PS4 for game's. I might try Witcher 3 on it from GOG though.
