HP Officejet Pro X576dw MFP Review
The HP Officejet Pro X576dw MFP matches or beats more expensive lasers on nearly every key aspect, from speed to MFP features to running cost. The bonus: Edge-to-edge printing. If someone gave you an HP Officejet Pro X576dw Multifunction Printer( at Amazon) to work with and didn't tell you it was an inkjet, odds are you'd swear it was a laser. Or if you knew it was an inkjet, you'd think it was using Memjet technology—the promised fast new inkjet design that's gotten a lot of publicity. But the X576dw isn't either one. Inside the box is HP's own inkjet design. Outside, it looks like a laser, feeds paper a laser, and performs like a laser. That makes it laser-class, much like Xerox's solid ink printers, which are also inkjets and also head-to-head laser competition. As a laser-class printer, the X576dw is a strong contender for light to moderate-duty use in a small to medium-size office or workgroup. It's also impressive enough to make it a runaway pick for Editors' Choice. The X576dw has more than the laser-class designation in common with solid-ink printers like the Xerox ColorQube 8870DN. It takes advantage of the same essential design feature to boos...

The print speeds of this printer are phenomenal. This printer really shines if you are doing a lot of on-demand printing.

HP Officejet Pro X576dw review: A multifunction printer without the jitters
The Officejet Pro X576dw delivers a generous serving of features exclusive to HP, including a new Pagewide printhead that grants it the speed benefits of a laser printer while maintaining the color print quality of an inkjet, making it worthwhile for offices shopping for a professional imaging solution.
Pros:
- The HP Officejet Pro X576dw includes the company's first page-wide array print head that increases print speeds and improves overall output quality
- while the network-ready printer also gives users the ability to print from the cloud and install a suite of customized apps for use with the onboard 4.3-inch color touch-screen display.
Cons:
- Small businesses looking for extra features will be disappointed to find that the X576dw doesn't include a stapler or other document organization options.

Cons:

Excellent
We are very happy. Much better than smaller models that every time you're in a rush to print something, gives you the message ?cleaning heads, may take several minutes?. Also very fast. We love it. Ink is very expensive, but this is how HP makes money.

Substandard
This unit began malfunctioning just a few days after it was purchased. It is a cheaply made piece of gear that barely withstands shipping. Service from HP is deplorable as they only will swap out a used unit to replace a new unit.
Pros:
- Nothing
Cons:
- It broke down after 3 days

Printers with print quality of Inkjets and speed of Lasers are adorable. But can they get faster? Or can they become the fastest and still retain that quality? HP X576dw is born in a league of such printers that leave Lasers behind, in almost every aspect of printing.
Pros:
- Excellent printing speeds
- Wireless network enabled
- Automatic two sided scanning and printing
Cons:
- Weak Wi-Fi reception
- Not for printing photos on gloss paper
