HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus is synonymous with being a great printer if you are looking for small micro printer for home or office use. As in comparison to its Pro 8500A Plus, the HP Office jet printer has gotten a performance upgrade from inside out, which has increased the speed of its print engine...
Pros:
- It offers maximum horizontal to vertical resolution as 4800×1200 dpi
- Colour print speed is 35ppm
- Offers envelop and banner inputs along with transparency printing capacity
- Has both automatic and manual feed capacity
- Works on multiple Operating systems like Microsoft Windows 2000
- XP...
Cons:
- Touch Screen requires efforts to operate and it cannot be calibrated in any way for better sensitivity
- Bigger in size than most of the other printers
- Graphic quality delivered is below standard

HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus review
T here are two versions of the OfficeJet Pro 8600 , so check that you are getting the model you want before buying. The standard 8600 model costs £229, but we opted for the £270 8600 Plus.
Pros:
- Very fast performance for text and colour documents
- excellent black-and-white prints
- low running costs
Cons:
- Photo output often seemed dark

Great printer,
The printer is wonderful. The only problem I am having is it will disconnect from the computer and I have to do a restart to activate it. I have had to do this twice. It prints beautifully and every computer including my laptop and Ipad print directly to the printer.
Pros:
- Print quality
Cons:
- It disconnects from the computer

Used in home for personal and some business. Major improvement over 6500 that we had. 8600 much faster printing and better print quality. Major hole in setup instructions - Initial setup gets thru unpacking and plugging in.
Pros:
- Compact Design
- Easy To Use
- Fast Operation
- Great Print Quality
Cons:
- Large Footprint

Works Perfectly
I just bought The HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus. I received it in the mail yesterday and only until today did I finally get the Airprint feature to work on it. When I opened the box and got the printer set up everything worked great.

HP Officejet Pro 8600
Another great work horse from HP printers to replace the last HP I had for 5 yrs. Also purchased through Argos. However the HP Pro does not copy duplex automatically through the ADF facility on top, as the HP Pro Plus does.

Cautiously optimistic
Purchase was a replacement for identical model, which broke after using it for 18 months. Costco concierge that I spoke with about this said that his info included the statement that the expected life of a modern printer was one year.
Pros:
- great features and photo quality is excellent
Cons:
- may only last about a year

Not in Love
This printer has a lot of features that my old 7500 didn't have and I was excited to start using it. Overall I'm pretty satisfied, but my wireless connection has been on and off a lot and makes it hard to use. It is only 10ft from my router, so I don't think it is a signal strength issue.
Pros:
- Easy to Use
- Meets Expectations
- Features
Cons:
- noisy
- drops wireless connection

Very good middle-of-the range printer
We have a small office set up and I was initially planning on buying a personal printer. My friend suggested me to go for this, just in case there is a need to perform some heavy duty work. It is perfect for my requirement.
