Best all-in-one printer I've ever owned. It is NOT an ink hog. We've had this printer a couple of years and I would buy this one again and again. I like it so much (and had gone through several prior to this purchase) that I just thought it would help other shoppers to know this has been a good one.

Large, but an excellent unit
An Excellent machine. Color quality is outstanding. Works great in conjunction with the PC...from XP & up.

Printhead failed only 6 months old
Don't buy this. It looks great, had all the functions I needed for home office. But under pretty light use (around 500 sheets of paper) for 6 months, it is now a boat anchor that I have to recycle.

Excellent product
I have to say this is the best printer I have ever used. I work as a professional in IT and hate fighting printers just to get what you need from them. This has been rock solid, reliable, always prints, scans well...and delivers straight to PC seamlessly !

This printer is suffering from some extremely basic flaws. It is mainly that it can not manage to keep something in mind. Starting to scan in a 80-page dokunentbunt and something goes wrong - which it gets about 50% of the time with this printer - you have to start over.

Don't get this printer only after 7 months of owning it the lcd screen broke look at cnet before buying a printer many people have the same prob with this printer I have a brother laser printer that i have had since 2010 that still works its also network printer both wire and wireless the only thing...

Very good middle-of-the range printer
We have a small office set up and I was initially planning on buying a personal printer. My friend suggested me to go for this, just in case there is a need to perform some heavy duty work. It is perfect for my requirement.

Erratic: Stay away!
I was given this HP Office Jet Pro 8600 Printer as a Christmas present from an employee. The qualitiy when it prints is @ best OK... However I constantly have to reboot the printer or when I print in color it comes-out completely smeared!
