Easy setup for most users. Setting up the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One printer is "a breeze," one reviewer says, whether you use the Internet, Wi-Fi or a direct USB connection. You do, however, have to supply your own USB cable.
Pros:
- Professional-quality printing
- Comes with preloaded apps
Cons:
- Large size
- More customer complaints than other printers

Printer will not accept photo paper! What kind of photo printer won't accept paper? - I had to remove the rear cartridge, then jam paper into it as it loads, only to show that the printer is horrible at color reproduction. I mean it's not even close!

HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus
When you think of a printer, Hewlett Packard or HP is definitely one of the first names to strike your mind. HP has come a long way in catering to all our printing needs in terms of both inkjet and laser printers.

Good deal for price. $150
Great wireless printer with scanner and copier feeder and ability to do legal size and two sided copying. Slower than expected speed. Send to folder function doesn't work. Just keeps single entries for a group of related documents. Haven't tried e web feature right.

HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One review: HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One
If you can find a desk to accommodate its large size, the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus all-in-one printer serves up top-shelf output quality at rapid print speeds, suitable for offices, home users, and photo enthusiasts hunting for an upgrade. The $299 HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One printer is an updated version of the Pro 8500A Plus multifunction CNET reviewed last year. The flagship of HP's workcentric inkjet line gets a performance makeover from the inside out, with improvements to the speed of the print engine and the texture of the 4.3-inch touch-screen display, and a sleeker chassis that hides fingerprints better than the previous version. The device also takes printing to the cloud with ePrint and an accompanying iOS application that make the Officejet Pro 8600A Plus an impressively resourceful printer. I recommend it for home offices and professional environments that need a dependable workhorse printer.
Pros:
- The HP Officejet 8600 Plus prints professional-quality photos and documents quickly with versatile connectivity options and robust features like an auto-duplexer
- cloud printing
- and a legal-size scanning bay.
Cons:
- The touch screen requires aggressive finger presses to actuate the display functions
- and there's no way to calibrate its sensitivity.
