HP Officejet 6700 Premium

HP's Officejet 6700 Premium can't match the Epson WorkForce WF-3530DTWF for king-sized ruggedness, but this office-friendly all-in-one still has plenty to offer. There's a 30-sheet ADF up top, a 250-sheet input tray, automatic duplexing, fax support and a choice of USB 2, Ethernet and Wi-Fi...

It works for all of my Windows 8 machines which includes Surface RT. The software CD came with it can't be installed on Windows 8 but you can get the HP Printer Control app and the HP Scan and capture to transfer the scanned image to you PC without using a USB memory stick pugged into the printer.

Not Quality I Expected

I bought this printer because it was one of the few on the market that supported Apple AirPrint at the time. The printer always was noisy and an ink hog. After 7 months, it started jamming paper. After a lot of troubleshooting, I contacted HP for support.

wireless printing air print capable

noisy ink hog poor support unreliable

HP Officejet 6700 Premium

I purchased an HP Officejet 6700 Premium on April7,2013. I paid $134.99 at COSTCO and have since see

Reduces ink waste; two sided printing; wireless; and excellent printing output

Documentation-what's that part on the back that opens

HP Officejet 6700 Premium

All-in-one printers intended for the home and small office (SOHO) market tend to be quite expensive beasts, due partly to the need for automatic document feed, fax facilities and duplex printing.

USB socket for scan and print; Fax with speed dials; Bright; pigment-based inks

Lot of ink system housekeeping; Slow duplex print; Quite noisy

Clarification

A good standard printer but I upgrade to the 8600 series as its a better workhorse and easier on the price. Only other competitor I'd consider is the Epson 7500 series which has a slightly better print quality and allows for wide print and scan. But the ink price is better than the hp.

Cheaper to run that other inkjet printers; It does print in gray scale if configured properly [as other posters point out it does not]

Ink will always be a con; That being said there isn't any printer that lets you print w/out a ink in everything; Get used to it; If that's you're reason for a downgrade then you may as well downgrade every car that doesn't rely solely on gas

HP Officejet 6700 Premium Review: A Home Office Hero

The HP Officejet 6700 Premium would make a solid addition to a home office or be great shared among a small workgroup.

Improved print speeds; Web services; Ease of use

Fine lines in 4x6 photo prints; Ink costs

HP OfficeJet 6700 - Excellent Printer

The HP Officejet 6700 is an Excellent Printer and second to none IMHO. I find the Duplex -Two Sided Automatic Printing a great saving on paper and if you are printing two or more pages and set the Duplex option, it then makes reading the document like a book.

this is good with a continuous ink supply, however unreliable product!

I have owned a lot of hp printers, this is good with a continuous ink supply system. Update after having it 1 year! At least for 4 mos worth of use. The print heads failed on 2 separate machines within 6 mos. of use.

Ideal for home office

I bought this product to use in my home office replacing a HP Photosmart C8345 all-in-one and I am exceptionally pleased with it's printing, scanning and copying. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a top printer at a small price for home or home office.

great printing quality; Prints From A Usb; Quiet

Slightly Slow Printing Sp
