HP Officejet 6700 Premium Review: A Home Office Hero
The HP Officejet 6700 Premium would make a solid addition to a home office or be great shared among a small workgroup.- Improved print speeds
- Web services
- Ease of use
- Fine lines in 4x6 photo prints
- Ink costs
This well-built, economically priced inkjet all-in-one for small offices is fast, and it churns out great prints, copies, and scans. A too-high cost of consumables reduces its overall value, however.
- Exceptional print
- copy
- and scan quality
- Fast performance
- Sturdy
- quiet operation
- High cost per page
- No PictBridge support
- Lacks flash-card slots for direct printing
It works sometime but more often then not, freezes so I have to unplug it to get it going. Sometimes it doesn not communicate with computer and sometimes it does. On many occasions had to cancel print job because it could not communicate with printer.
- Great WHEN it works
- Freezes
- Hard To Use
- Unreliable
Bad Printer
Bought this printer with high hopes for it's ability to print and scan in a small office. Printer sucks in multiple pages and gets jammed. Runs out of ink very quickly and ink in expensive.- Easy to Use
- Easy to Set Up
- Pricey/Poor Value
- Jams Easily
- Quality
- Performance
- Slow
I think the users with positive reviews are under influence.
My review isn't due to poor print quality, it's due to cartridge capacity. I've owned this printer for about 2.5 years, and I've printed 65 pages out of it give or take. I've gone through the demo cartridges that came with it, and an entire set of xl cartridges. Those were 100$ on their own.- Print quality
- scanner
- The rest of it
Not Quality I Expected
I bought this printer because it was one of the few on the market that supported Apple AirPrint at the time. The printer always was noisy and an ink hog. After 7 months, it started jamming paper. After a lot of troubleshooting, I contacted HP for support.- wireless printing air print capable
- noisy ink hog poor support unreliable
