Before buying I searched for other options from canon and epson. Epson portable I have not found in any online store. Canon brochure cleanly states that it can not run with a single cartridge, so only option left is this one. It is smaller in size. Can be carried in a back pack. But heavy 2.5 kgs.

For business trips where printing is a necessity, this mobile printer can be a great companion. Just be aware of its slow speed and lack of Wi-Fi.

The ability to print anywhere comes at a premium cost

I have reviewed a number of these small (they still print A4) printers, however the last was a while ago and this has just been launched by HP. So if you work away from power will it do what you need to do or is portable not on?

As far as printers are concerned, HP is touted as one of the front runners in the market currently. Their multifunction printers are commonplace in most offices as well as homes with functionality and simplicity being their USP.

With inkjet printers far outselling other forms of colour print, they've taken most of the home and small business markets, where they sit on a desk and wait to be sent print jobs.
