A bit heavy and needs a Bluetooth adapter if you want to use Wifi. Adapter is not hard to locate or install. Printing is excellent!
Before buying I searched for other options from canon and epson. Epson portable I have not found in any online store. Canon brochure cleanly states that it can not run with a single cartridge, so only option left is this one. It is smaller in size. Can be carried in a back pack. But heavy 2.5 kgs.
I have used the product from a different portal and it is an amazing printer.
HP's Officejet 100 Mobile Printer is a compact colour inkjet, designed for mobile workers who need to print documents while on the road using a mains adapter or an optional battery for power.
Over the past few years, we've seen printers of all shapes and sizes make their way into our labs, but the one thing they have in common is the fact that they are all office printers. This particular offering by HP, the OfficeJet 100, is a bit special, as it is also a mobile printer as well.
Great printout quality; Mobile and portable
Slow print speeds; Lacks USB and memory card printing
I have reviewed a number of these small (they still print A4) printers, however the last was a while ago and this has just been launched by HP. So if you work away from power will it do what you need to do or is portable not on
The HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer fits the needs of the mobile professional, providing competent printing capabilities in a luggable package. Although that comes at the sacrifice of speed, and at notable initial and ongoing costs, convenience is the priority with this machine.
In the world of portable printers, the HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer stands out for its output quality and its high-yield cartridges that let you print a fair number of pages without running out of ink. It's surprisingly similar to HP's last generation HP Officejet H470 Mobile Printer ($249.99, 4 stars), which is still available at this writing, but the good news is that the H470 is well worth considering, and so is the Officejet 100. Portable printers in general fall into two broad categories. On the one hand are printers like the Editors' Choice Brother PocketJet 6 Plus PJ663-K ($529 direct, 4 stars), which focus primarily on portability. These printers typically use thermal print engines that need special paper, they print in mono only, and they don't have input trays, so you have to feed pages manually, one at time. In contrast, printers like the Officejet 100or the directly competitive Canon Pixma iP100 Photo Printer ($249.99 direct, 4 stars)are basically desktop inkjet...
HP's latest portable printer, the HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer, is a little slow, but delivers on output quality, cartridge yield, and battery life.
Portable; Bluetooth; Rechargeable battery; 50-sheet input tray; Output quality worthy of a desktop inkjet
No Wi-Fi; Relatively slow; Heavier than many notebooks
