This is a great printer! We bought this printer so that we could print from our iPad, and this feature works flawlessly. The only issue that we had was performing a firmware upgrade. Apparently HP doesn't test their Mac software.

HP LaserJet Pro P1606dn The HP LaserJet Pro P1606dn monochrome laser printer aims at small offices and home offices that prize speed. Despite its moderate price, it delivers plenty of pep, along with good paper handling.
Fast; Offers standard automatic duplexing
Expensive toner; Unimpressive print quality for graphics
This printer is excellent value. Cost is low and it performs the basic business tasks. I haven't tried graphics, so don't know how they will look. I did have a slight bit of trouble with setup, because the instructions are purely graphical and in one step the level of detail is insufficient.
Compact Design; Easy To Use; Fast Print Time; Good Value; Toner is stock item
Manual hard to follow; Manual incorrect; Paper tray too small; Shuts off too soon
Super easy network setup. I plugged in the ethernet cable and went through the wizard and voila! I have a PC desktop and laptop and both were setup easily with the printer. I did have to go to their website to download the drivers, but it was still super easy to do.
cheap; Fast; easy setup; MAC compatible
no automatic on function (might just be my own inexzperience still playing round with it

Great printer to get you started as a single user desktop, or it is great for small work groups via the built in Ethernet card. Easy setup, when you open the box you will be printing in a matter of minutes. HP has finally got turned backaroud after a series of disappointing models.
Whether you want a personal monochrome laser small enough to share your desk with, or a shared printer suitable for a small office, the HP LaserJet Pro P1606dn ($229 direct) is worth a close look.
Fast; High-quality text; Reasonably good paper capacity; Automatic duplexing; Ethernet connection
Photo quality is at the low end of the range for mono lasers
HP just cut the price of its LaserJet Pro 1606dn monochrome laser printer from $229 to $199 . Nobody likes PC hardware discounts more than we do, but in this case we wish they'd kept the higher price and thrown in a USB cable.
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Compact Design; Durable construction; Easy To Setup; Easy To Use; Reliable
Had this now for a few days and am really happy with the purchase. The price point is excellent, and the speed and quality of output (particularly, density of the blacks) make the LaserJet P1606DN an excellent addition to the home office.
