HP LaserJet Pro 400 M425dn Review
Like the single function HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401dn, I found the LaserJet Pro 400 M425dn to be very functional. The print speeds were quick and reliable, the print quality was quite good and I find the web-connected and mobile applications to add value that some competitors can't match as of this...

The monochrome printer uses the brilliant laser print technology to deliver absolutely sharp results, and comes with a handy USB 2.0 interface. It delivers terrific overall value-for-money.

IT Manager
Our school district has 104 locations and we primarily use HP Printers and Computers.
Pros:
- Easy to setup and use
- It sits in our Kitchen Managers office (is being used by 3 people) and will be used everyday
- Half of their printing is on 14x8 sheets for production
- We have only had this since the Christmas Break so its still early.
Cons:
- None yet

Copier Purchase
Copier has nice crisp copies and is pretty fast printing. The copier does go into sleep mode to much and you have to keep shutting it off and back on because of initializing, this is not a good thing, other than that, the copier does great .
Pros:
- Good Value
- Fast
Cons:
- Performance
- itnitalizes to much

HP LaserJet Pro 400 MFP M425dn
Basically a multi-function printer (MFP) variation on the HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401dn ($399 direct, 4 stars), the HP LaserJet Pro 400 MFP M425dn ($499 direct) delivers essentially the same printing capability plus scanning, copying, and faxing.
Pros:
- High-quality text
- Ethernet
- Duplexer and 300-sheet capacity standard, 800-sheet maximum
- Prints, scans, copies, and faxes
Cons:
- High running cost

Superb print quality and a dual-head scanner make this a good choice for monochrome desktop publishing, especially if you work with two-sided documents. Just don't expect a robust set of configuration options and user reports.
Pros:
- Excellent print quality
- Relatively fast print speeds
- Duplex ADF scanning
- Color touch screen
- Large paper-input capacity
- EPrint and AirPrint support
Cons:
- Short on paper-output capacity
- Limited configuration settings and user reports
- No Wi-Fi connectivity

Works Well
This printer was a snap to setup but be careful when you're removing it from the tight packaging container. One wrong move and you could break something. Also - remember to remove the shipping tape & plastic attached to several surfaces and the packing strip in the toner cartridge.
Pros:
- Meets Expectations
