The HP LaserJet Pro CP1025nw is best suited for people with space constraints and who mainly print in black and white. Otherwise, the slow colour print speeds, dark and oversaturated prints, and high cost per colour page make this four-pass printer difficult to be excited about.
Gave me barely 2 years of use. Hard to connect to wifi. Long wait times to get customer support. Cartridge (if you buy all colors) more expensive than actual printer which you'll need to replace every 3-6 most.
I bought this printer as a replacement for a HP 2400 that had gone to the farm.
Cheap (paid like $150 direct from HP

Prints quickly and consistently and is a good workhorse for a small work environment. However cartridges can be expensive so I don't buy originals. It doesn't do automatic back to back printing which is a little bit frustrating having to feed paper back in.
It is good for home purpose. the printing is very slow. But prints good. for a home, This will be a good item to recoment if they need colour printer.
The CP1025 Color Laser Printer is perfect for home and small office use and often receives price cuts and discounts.
Ideal for low quanity color documents; If planning to use for large color photos, then see Cons: below
You can exhaust the toner cartridges completely after 4 or 5 each 8.5 X 11 color prints! For sure, I won't be using the CP1025 for any more large color photo prints; That's OK because I did not purchase a Color Laser for photographs anyway.

Wanted to print from my Ipad, so found I needed to update the printer firmware. Downloaded the latest firmware from HP and it proceeded to permanently brick the printer, checked forums, if out of warranty, you are out of luck. It was a great little printer up until now.
Prints well
After firmware update - now a brick
I have owned 2 of This laser printer cp1025nw just so there is no doubt about the one I am talking about . The first died after one year no warrantee. Had a some cartridges left over from the first so bought another.
