The software that supports this printer is absolutely horrendous. One day, I'm able to print without any problems. The next day, the computers don't recognize the printers and nothing gets printed. I've spent two days troubleshooting the issue, all to no avail.

insufficient paperwork

The printer was shipped without any of its documentation...no manual, no booklet with set-up instructions or operating instructions at all. It shipped without any CDs with printer software. Can't give it a good rating when I was shortchanged on necessary parts.

Network envelope printing Forget it.

We wanted a midlevel office laser printer with 2-3 trays and envelope handling. We were told the manual tray would handle 15 envelopes, envelope feeder not really needed. Turns out envelope feeder just not available for this model.

False paper jam error messages. No fixes available.

The false paper jam messages in a new printer are unacceptable. HP help is useless. Firmware update, fresh paper did not fix this error. This printer was no ready for Broadway when it was shipped. It is going back.
