Review: HP LaserJet P2035n Printer
In a world where Inkjet printers are all the rage, I like to keep a Laser printer on hand for document printing because they are much more efficient with ink and a lot faster. HP is one of the top manufacturers of Laser printers and today I am looking at the HP LaserJet P2035n

HP's LaserJet P2035n monochrome laser printer is quick and it lets you print using custom media. However, the cost of its consumables and the lack of automatic duplexing make the asking price unreasonable.
Pros:
- Decent print speeds
- Bonjour compatibility
- accurate text
- can print on custom media sizes
Cons:
- No automatic duplex
- sparse configuration options
- consumables are slightly expensive

Pros
HP does not include all cables needed to make the printer work. They do not unclude a USB cable. You need to buy that separately. How chintzy.
Pros:
- Exact replacement for a failed unit I had
Cons:
- Different generation
- incompatible toner

" Not a very good printer "
My office has about 20 of these printers since the 1300 was discontinued. More than half of them cannot print envelopes without it saying there is a paperjam when the only problem is the feeder will not pull the envelope. We go through ink like no other for the price of $100 per cartridge.

Caution This is 220V
I got the printer and set it up. Installed the Drivers off the CD and then plugged in the cable. Turned the printer on and it came up with Error 50.2 Fuser Error. Called HP and they quickly determined that the printer I have is 220 Volt.
Cons:
- 220Volts

It's a very good no nonsense printer. However the Amazon description is not correct because it does not have an ethernet port and therefore is not ready to be networked. I had to dig out an old Netgear printserver and parallel port cable in order to put it on my network.
