While it might be overkill for home use, terrific print quality and heavy-duty paper handling make the HP LaserJet Enterprise M553dn an easy pick for busy offices. This color laser printer boasts a duplexer and 550-sheet paper drawer plus 100-sheet tray, and it can crank out up to 6,000 pages every...
Fast -- 40 pages per minute (black) -- print speed; High-quality text; graphics and even photos; High capacity paper handling; 6,000 page monthly duty cycle
Wi-Fi dongle costs $75 extra; High upfront cost for high-yield cartridges
Print very well !!
When printing anything with photos ALL pictures are too dark, to the point I need to utilize my old printer and cannot print brochures or presentation materials.
I used the literature and CD that came with the product and the printer was up and running in a matter of minutes. The iphone and ipad print to it wirelessly and the office computers print though the network connection.
A lot has been written about the wisdom, or otherwise, of HP's planned corporate split , putting enterprise hardware and services together under one brand while creating a separate company for PCs and printers.
Excellent print quality at up to 40ppm; Up to 33% higher page yield per cartridge; Lower operating temperatures and reduced power requirements; Internal cartridge seals for clean maintenance
High up-front cost of consumable replenishment; No Bluetooth connectivity
Really smart machine, clever little functions and great for mobile printing. Would rate this printer.
As the flagship model in Hewlett-Packard's 500 series of workgroup color laser printers, the HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M553x ($1,199) is a formidable machine. Among its virtues are very good speed, voluminous standard paper capacity, Wi-Fi Direct and NFC connectivity, and above-average output quality. This goodness comes at a high price, though. If you don't need all the M553x's features, you may be better off getting a more economical variant that eschews what for many businesses may be overkill. Design and Features The M553x measures 22.9 by 18 by 18.9 inches (HWD), so you'll want to put it on a table of its own, and it weighs 73 pounds, so you'll need two people to move it. One of its two large paper trays is packaged separately, and you have to set the tray down first and then delicately align the printer on top of it until the printer snaps into place. The standard paper capacity for the M553x is an immense 1,200 sheets, split between two 550-sheet trays and a 100-shee...
The HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M553x is fast, with features galore, a high paper capacity, and very good output quality. But some businesses might not want to pay the high price for more features than they need.
Fast; Above-average output quality across the board; Excellent graphics; 1,200-sheet standard paper capacity; Wireless Direct and NFC connectivity; PCL and PostScript drivers
Pricey; Lacks 802.11 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
