HP LaserJet M551DN

This printer was a breeze to set up. We are on a network, so it did require our engineer to poke around a bit, adding it to the log-in script. Once that was done, we have had to problems. Only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is.. the interface is quite limited.

Because it is such an "office workhorse", this printer is ideal for those who want a reliable and cost effective way to make color prints. The office printer is set to at its lowest level thus far and still produces astonishing color pages for our workplace.

This printer is WONDERFUL. I had a 4500 HP Color Laser Jet that I bought in 1999 and it worked great until this year. I kept getting power cycle errors and could not depend on it. This printer is FASTER, the colors are 'true', it is easier to clean/change cartridges. I LOVE it.

" Picky picky "

Just purchased this printer. It works great, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a color laserjet. The price is a real bargin (see discussion below). However, I'm going to be picky picky. The drivers for the Mac (OX 10.6.x) are wanting.

Makes my life so much easier

The automatic duplexing feature on this printer saves me so much time. We have always purchased HP printers because of their reliability - but the features of the HP Color LaserJet Enterprise 500 (especially the print quality) surpasses all my expectations.
