Bought this printer to use on a home office Mac network. Great features, fast printer, and works well with OSX Maverick's. However, we can barely get the printer itself to work. Every time we start a print job after a few hours of it being idle, it reports a Fuser Error.
Support is difficult to get from HP. Always seem to have issues getting the integrated network card to recognize properly. Sometimes toner goes fast. Other times slow. Printer said to replace blue toner cartridge yet cartridge still works 3000 pages later.
I use this printer at home. I bought this series for the same reason I bought the 4050TN 13 years ago. Because the printer has a high monthly volume capability, it will last a long time in a home environment.

A little larger than the black laser in the same series it is augmenting (4050TN); but still not too large to place on a table in a home environment
For general printing this unit works well. The PCL6 driver is easy to install and works on both the Win7 Pro and XP Pro machines with equal ease.
Colors are crisp and blacks are fully saturated. First copy print is excellent.
