Printer works great very sharp and fast using it for AutoCAD

This is a good unit to buy if you are looking to do 11 x 17; The speed of the printer and quality are great

Toner is expensive; The maintenance kit is also very expensive

We still need to produce halftone positives with either a 65 or 85 line screen for our newspaper production and the M712 does an excellent job. Hopefully HP will continue to produce a printer with these capabilities.

I bought this for a ten person office to replace an older HP model This was easy to setup and it print very quickly.It is bit noisy but nothing too uncomfortable. It is a pain to turn off. WhenI push the power button it sleeps. I found if you hold the power button it actually turns off.

Works great, connected onto network with ease and paper is ready as fast as you can walk to it. Great printer.
