Love my HP laptop, HATE my HP printer!
I have nothing but problems since I bought this in August 2018. Tech support could only provide a temporary fix the first six times it quit printing. It was advanced to the engineering department where they had to schedule follow up calls with me to be sure the "fix" continued to work. It didn't.

The HP5200 is a big machine with a little footprint!
I purchased this to replace my old 5000 printer. My new laptop doesn't have an LPT port so I needed USB. This printer is perfect! Easy to set up and printer great quality at 1200 dpi.

Beware HP Customer Service
I need to buy a wide format multifunction machine and I had my eye on a $10000 HP model, but I have to re-think that. Before I settle on a suitable product I am going to call the help lines of other companies that have comparable machines to see if they speak and understand english.
Pros:
- Newegg delivery
- Ordered Monday evening, arrived Wednesday morning
- Packaging great, printer goes together easily, feels solid and looks great
- Newegg has always been a superior vendor and if not for HP's poor support this would have been a 5-egg rating
Cons:
- HP has got to be kidding with their support
- The software CD that comes with the machine does not work on Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 or 2008 R2
- The HP website only has universal drivers for Win 7
- The universal drivers don't operate all printer functions on this machine.

Works great in all areas.
The network setup is quick and easy. You only need to be careful and do a custom setup if you need to use anything other than the PCL6 driver which we did and the setup still went smoothly. We typically run 11x17 and 8 1/2x11 on a regular basis so having the two trays is very helpful.

Outstanding Laser Printer For 11X17 Card Stock
I received my HP 5200 yesterday, and with a bit of labor (It is a very heavy printer) placed it into my home office area. The printed documentation is sparse, so you'll need to browse the PDF manual located on the CD.
