Does not work with DesignJet 500's

I had an existing Jetdirect EW2400 on a Design Jet 500 that I love. I have another design jet that I wanted to hook up so i ordered the Jetdirect EW 2500 as the EW2400 is no longer made. Unfortunately I learned the hard way that HP killed the support within the EW2500 for designjet 500's..

First, the object functions perfectly and I am glad we bought it. Second, it was clearly refurbished and, although in what appeared to be original packing, was accompanied by an obviously copied cd which did not contain the OEM software. This indicates the refurbish was done by non-MFR.

As Mentioned in the Product, it doesn't work with CP1025 Printer
