HP Envy Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer

There was a time in which HP's Envy all-in-one printers, which were introduced in 2010, were all about style-at the expense of features and performance. The 7855 is still stylish, though in a tasteful, understated way.

Above-par photo quality; Good range of connectivity choices; 35-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF); Fax capabilities; Automatic duplexer

Ink costs on the high side if you buy individual cartridges; Slightly subpar graphics quality; Limited paper capacity pegs it for light duty or personal use

This photo-centric AIO prints good-looking documents and photos, and, with an Instant Ink subscription, at low cost. (The photos look good, too, if shy of five- and six-ink competitors.)

Good overall print; copy; scan quality; Easy to set up and use; Small and light; Instant Ink compatible; making for inexpensive photos; Support for Wi-Fi Direct; SD cards; USB drives

Two-tank ink delivery; instead of four discrete cartridges; High cost per page without Instant Ink

Review of the HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-In-One Printer

With all the fascinating new technology that gets released on a regular basis, it's not often we take a look at the humble printer. While printers were once a significant investment that home users and businesses paid to maintain and repair, over time manufacturers have released significantly less...

Great printer

Love the printer but wish the wireless connection wouldn't disconnect after 2 hours. I'm not a computer person so I just bought a printer cable to solve the problem. Other than that this is the 2nd HP printer I have purchased over the years and they make good quality printers.

Poor assistance.

I have called HP - after considerable dissonance in connecting the printer to my devises (desk top, laptop, and phone. They are not talking to each other. After much delay I was connected to a "talking voice." She was helpful however the problem still exist. I tried to follow the inline support.

New HP Envy with great quality

We are thrilled with the print quality of the Envy. Being wireless, we can print from our phone,iPad and computer, which makes it efficient and a great time saver. Wonderful color quality. Great recommendation and knowledge of the product from the sales person, too.

Display Screen; Easy to Use; Performance; Quiet; beautiful photo quality and accurate color

would recommend better manual for use

This printer is easy to set up. Getting the wireless set up was a breeze. All functions work well. Getting my devices to work with this printer was simple. Although I don't use it frequently I still love the automatic document feeder, it takes away the need to sit by the printer if I need to...

I ordered this printer based on other customer reviews and so far I have not been disappointed. This printer does a great job of meeting my printing needs at home. It's nice to be able to print from anywhere so I can print from my desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone.

This is a ‘more in sorrow than in anger' situation for me, as I really liked the Envy 7830 – it has an Ethernet port and the ‘Instant Ink' service seems likely to be a great idea – but it has one bug which was crucial to me: if you print MS Word documents that include images inserted by the standard...
