Most often, when I print from a laptop, either the printer is offline or has random issues appear. Need restart to fix that.

We bought the printer just a few weeks ago and the print and color quality is great. It was easy to set up and had us going straight away. We signed up for instant ink and it's perfectly fine. We never used wired cable to it but the major pain in the neck is power cycling the printer after it goes idle from every other printing job. We have to unplug the power cord since it goes unresponsive, all buttons including the power button at the back part. Also, paper tray always shows out of paper even if there are more than 20 sheets still loaded.

Printer looks great but is not as good to use. Trying to copy a document from the glass well I just was not able to find out how to do this and it took two hours to try to work out why!! You have to have HP Smart then Printer Doctor etc etc.......Instructions in the box are all Chinese. There are no controls to turn on and off and no controls to copy/Scan etc. There is a model that has this but would have been better if this was stated in the advertisement. Really do not like this printer.

I bought this model to replace the 10-yr-old HP SmartPhoto C309g, good features with the low price. Photo quality surprise me as I didn't expect that with the 4-color ink setup. Excellent delivery - it got delivered from Sydney to Adelaide the next day I ordered

wireless direct was useful as I was in the beach house with no wireless network. Telstra dongle was no help. But was able to connect to the printer using the wireless direct feature. Saved me having to drive 25 km to get a USB cable. Cool!
