HP Envy 17-3000 Review
The Envy 17-3000 is a well thought out and designed laptop and credit goes to the engineers and designers at HP. It's a lucky thing HP didn't dump their PC business as they do a good job of being very competitive on features, design and price on the premium end. For those that don't want the Mac
Pros:
- Pleasing design
- Well built with durable all metal case and chassis
- Best audio we've ever seen from a laptop
- Nice bright and vibrant screen
- Excellent performance with Intel Core i7 and AMD 7690M graphics
Cons:
- Touchpad could be improved
- right mouse button not responsive
- Top of the lid shows fingerprints easily
- RAID setup not supported
- despite dual hard drives

HP Envy 17-1190ea: Beautiful laptop!
I bought my HP Envy 17-1190ea eleven months ago and it's been an amazing investment. I use my laptop for studying and also playing games (including rather graphic intensive games such as the Sims 3, Witcher 2 and Civ V) and so far the HP Envy has risen to all challenges.

Good computer
This PC is nice a little expensive but appears to be a keeper. Only downfall is windows 8 is difficult to learn vs older windows programs of the past. Really enjoy the finger security features allowing you to link websites and programs passwords to the swipe of a finger.
Pros:
- Nice vivid screen
Cons:
- Windows 8
