Very Impressed
This is a great notebook and well worth the money. This is a lovely slim and sleek notebook and is uber quick to start up. I am a great fan of Beats and HP have integrated their design to every level across the machine. Me and my family have had great fun with Leap Motion.

After having been stubborn and having windows 7 for 5 years, I've decided that it was time to move on, although my last HP was my baby, I'm in college and needed something newer. I got this and there are some things to get used to but as my friend told me ( has the same one ) play with it.

A powerful desktop replacement that costs less than most ultrabooks
If there's one thing you need to understand about laptops, it's this: Portability will cost you. Want proof? Look no further than the HP Envy TouchSmart 17 (MSRP $999.99), a fully-loaded desktop replacement that costs less than an entry level MacBook Air .

1st Time HP Laptop buyer
My only issue is with the touchpad. I'm not used to a touch pad and the automatic decisions it makes for you. Zoom in/out, paging and other action it takes for me are driving me crazy. I installed my bus mouse to override this.
Pros:
- Easy To Set Up
- Easy to Use
- Efficient
- Quality Construction
- Reliable
Cons:
- Touchpad

Excellent product
Excellent product! I am very pleased. The only problem is that it comes with Windows 8. But I installed Windows 7, and got better. Shame that HP does not provide drivers for some features of the machine, so far the only feature that is not able to enable the biometric sensor. I highly recommend it!
Pros:
- Easy To Set Up
- Easy To Use
- Fast
- Powerful
Cons:
- Windows 8
