HP EliteBook x360 1020 G2 (i7-7600U, FHD Sure View) Convertible Review

3.9
Verdict: The EliteBook 1020 G2 is a great example of the merging between sleek consumer designs and feature-heavy business configurations. It's inarguably faster and thinner than the 1020 G1, but not without some cutbacks that longtime EliteBook owners may lament.
Pros: very lightweight and portable; attractive Spectre-inspired 2-in-1 design, relatively strong base and lid considering the size; MIL-STD certification, long list of unique above-OS and under-OS security features, extremely bright display backlight; good outdoor visibility, respectable surface...
Cons: Sure View interferes with contrast and colors; not as effective for browsing or graphic-editing work, no dedicated mouse keys or TrackPoint nub; WACOM pen not included in base packaging, narrower viewing angles for optimum brightness due to presence of Sure View panel, no integrated RJ-45, VGA,...

Verdict: Want a high-quality business laptop? Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 Carbon has set the benchmark, but this is a fiercely contested area of the market, with multiple manufacturers eager to lock down lucrative enterprise contracts.
Pros: Solid performance, Outstanding battery life, Great keyboard and trackpad, Optional pen is a useful accessory, Comprehensive security, Three-year warranty
Cons: Display could be brighter, Not great in tablet mode, Limited UK configuration options

REVIEW: HP EliteBook x360 1020 G2

No reviews
Verdict: HP's EliteBook x360 1020 G2 is a super slick convertible laptop featuring 7th-generation Intel Core processor choices, impressive security options, and an ultra-bright 12.5-inch display (there's also a 13.3-inch model). HP pitches it as the world's thinnest and lightest business convertible.

HP EliteBook X360 1020 G2 Core i7-7600U 8GB 512GB 12.5in

4.0
Verdict: Business travelers who want to save ounces-and save sensitive company data from the casual glances of an airline seatmate-will be intrigued by HP's premium compact convertible.
Pros: Bright display with built-in privacy screen, Snappy keyboard with Skype controls, Light, well-crafted chassis
Cons: Privacy screen subtracts readability and battery life

HP EliteBook x360 1020 G2

3.5
Verdict: On the other hand, the SureView privacy filter on the 1020 G2 could be worth the battery life sacrifice for the peace of mind that it offers in certain scenarios, especially for employees who are constantly traveling.
Pros: Screen comes with built-in privacy filter. Thin and light. Intel Core i7 can handle most business computing tasks
Cons: Privacy filter noticeably reduces battery life and degrades screen quality

HP 12.5″ Elitebook x360 1020 G2 (review)

4.4
Verdict: The HP 12.5″ Elitebook x360 1020 G2 is the smaller sibling the HP 13.3" Elitebook x360 1030 G2. Both are amazing – I bought the 1030! SureView protects data from prying eyes. It will reduce the battery life by 37% when used.
Pros: 12.5"Sure View screen for privacy
Cons: Thunderbolt 3 is great - would have loved one USB-A as well

HP EliteBook x360 1020 G2

3.7
Verdict: One of the best business/consumer crossover laptops, the HP EliteBook x360 takes the lead on security with a useful on-demand privacy filter.
Pros: Includes HP SureView, a built-in privacy screen. Slim, 360-degree design with plenty of RAM and storage
Cons: Battery life is merely OK, and the security screen leaves the display feeling a little muted. The processor is a last-gen model and the touchpad hitches occasionally

HP EliteBook x360 G2 Review

Verdict: Business laptops typically reflect the corporate market they're built for: They're inoffensive and just a tad boring. But it doesn't have to be this way. HP's new EliteBook x360 G2 is proof that your work laptop should be no less sleek, comfortable or powerful than anything you would use at home.

Sleek and sexy laptop with great features

5.0
Verdict: This would be a great laptop if it was dependable. At 13mos the SSD HD went out. Hp was kind enough to send me a usb drive to reload the O.S but it still cost me 100.00 for the HD. Next up at appx 18 mos the laptop just would no longer turn on.

Best/Worst Laptop I've Ever Used!

5.0
Verdict: It's fast, it's pretty, it's tiny (which I like), it does almost everything right, except... It really won't go to sleep for me, even after being worked over by an hp technician. So it just seems to eventually turn itself off and therefore is constantly being rebooted (though it is doing better as...
