In the land of the tablets, the one with the type cover is king. In the land of the type covers, the one most like a traditional notebook keyboard/trackpad is king … or something. You get the picture. And so has HP.

I have bought this thing two weeks ago. I was looking forward to receive it. I first received the docking station (for free from HP), and then my "customized" tablet.

The HP Elite X2 is a very good attempt at replacing a laptop. However, just like the Surface Pro 4, the Elite X2 isn't quite there yet. It performs well, and has a great keyboard. Plus, the fact that you can replace its internals is a big point in its favour.

Good machine if you like this form factor. The finger print scanner leaves a lot to be desired.

I purchased this thinking I would have a good quality item.. This thing is terrible. Takes forever to respond , the stylus only lasts about 2 days with new batteries ( which are AAAA ) and expensive, I can not get the stylus to turn off?..
