Pros:
- Outstanding output quality
- Relatively low cost
- Choice of inputs
Cons:
- Few graphics cards offer 10-bit output

very nice screen is very good at showing colors and shades. get less because you do not get the screen cap and no software package for mac. mycket trevlig skärm väldigt bra på att visa färger och nyanser. får minus för att man inte får med skärmkeps och ingen program vara för mac.

A monitor for professionals
HP calls the 24in DreamColor LP2480zx 'uniquely affordable'. At over $4000, most of us probably don't think that at all. However, professional users who make their living using colour-critical applications might well see the merit in that statement.
Pros:
- Superb up-scaling of video
- impeccable colours
Cons:
- It's hard to fault this monitor
- but it probably could use some more calibration options in its menu system

Great monitor for professionals
I bought this for gaming because I wanted a color accurate LED screen. It works great but in retrospect if you do not have a professional purpose for this monitor, purchase something cheaper. I think I ordered this directly from HP at the time. Newegg has not always carried it.
Pros:
- Amazing color when calibrated
- Response time good enough for gaming
- Holds up well after over a year of ownership
Cons:
- Super expensive
- Don't buy this if you are not going to calibrate it and use it professional
- Other reviewer's comment about black levels and brightness are accurate

Best monitor ever
Professionals must buy, worth the price. Prints are identical to what is seen on the screen. On screen display give you options for many professional color spaces that are factory calibrated and VERY accurate. There is no dithering, there is no bleeding.
