Well…basically it's Guitar Hero with little surprises or new inventions. This does mean for those of you who played Rock Band in between you may be a bit disappointed when you find some of the pro's of Rock Band disappear (maybe Guitar Hero 4 will steal some of the ideas?).
If your a fan of guitar hero then you will be no stranger to the "band" game releases Activision make. Another band orientated game is this Aerosmith. The game focuses on the band Aerosmith, with all members of the band portrayed brilliantly in their graphical ways.
Guitar Hero 3 is a wicked game, and this is basically exacly the same, just based on aerosmith! So obviously people who don't like aerosmith probably wont find the choice of songs for them!
Barebones version of Guitar Hero that is only of use if you like Aerosmith. Achievements are a slog though and will require many playthroughs if you want to get them all. Rock Band still has the better interface and, of course, Aerosmith suck horribly.
Perfect
When Guitar Hero II and III came out, throwing high scores their way was as simple as Slow Ride on Easy. Both titles rocked our world and so the idea of a one-off special featuring one of the biggest rock acts of all time is another welcome addition.
Aerosmith are one of those rare bands. They originally formed in 1971 and have been together (more or less) ever since which means that they have been performing together for over 35 years.
The same Guitar Hero that we all know and love combined with Aerosmith, who we're sure many have a love-hate relationship with. Still fun, but definitely tailored for fans of the band more than anybody else.
I was upset at how short this game was compaired to other Guitar Hero. There is only one battle against Joe Perry compared to three battles in GH3. There is about 13 less songs as well. The game is just way too short & unsatisfying for the cost. it's good to enjoy for a short period.
