My son received this cologne as a gift some years ago and loved it. I love it too! It makes one of the best smelling colognes. He ran out and been wanting to get more for some time, so I got him some for Christmas. He was truly grateful to have his "signature" cologne back again.

On the initial spray you get a spicy burst and yes, it is synthetic, but it has a great peppery/amber aroma. Vanilla kicks in a half hour later and then it starts to die down, just like some reviewers say, it has a short life or it is close to the skin.

What to say about Guess for Men... Looking at the bronze bottle you could get or guess the essential vibe of this scent: well rounded woody amber. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful scent.
