Shalimar is the only fragrance I've worn for more than 30 years. It's scent is exotic and subtle, and I've always received compliments on it, even from total strangers.

Shalimar has been around for awhile and is loved by many but it is hard to find in department stores except for very high end stores. So when I found it here and for the price, it was a no brainer. My sister will be very happy this Christmas.

This Fragrance is for Everyone! Itas Elegant, Subtle, Classy. When our Mother turned 71 in October, We knew just what to get her. Itas a true Classic! Iam sure the younger generation can even appreciate.

I found this perfume at my local drug store , and was surprised at how wonderful it smelt. I will say to begin with though , that this is not a scent for the timid. This is a bold and very sexy smelling perfume .

Shalimar by Guerlain has been available since the 1920s so it's not surprising they call it their timeless perfume, sometimes they have a new bottle designed and repackage the perfume. The 2013/2014 bottle was designed by Jade Jagger.

Looking for something a little heavier than a one-note floral, I found the description of a floral medley with vanilla and musk interesting. Shalimar is lovely, fine for parties and other outings--or romantic evenings, but if you're heading to the mall, PTA, or carwash, stick to something lighter.

Personally, I would never wear Shalima as I find it too bashful and too complex for my liking, but I certainly have an appreciation for the work that the perfumer has put into it.
