Grand Theft Auto V was one of the standout games from the end of the last console generation. It puts you in the shoes of three characters in the massive city of Los Santos and the surrounding areas. It was great and set all kinds of records for game launches.

You have to hand it to Rockstar. With every release the Grand Theft Auto franchise just gets better and better. To the point where the brand is a house hold name and a pop culture phenomenon.

As always Grand Theft Auto's narrative is an expansive satirical look at American culture, and involve it's characters chasing the American dream, in the most ridiculous way possible.

In my Grand Theft Auto V review for PS3 and Xbox 360, I lamented a handful of minor things including the game's sometimes lower-end textures and minute moments of pop-up. It was hardly game-breaking and certainly never took anything away from the experience, but it was noticeable nonetheless.

It was only a matter of time before GTA V appeared on the newer consoles, and we still have another leap to look forward to when it hits PC in early 2015.
