Grand Theft Auto V has finally arrived from Rockstar Games, and with the largest amount of anticipation for any video game in recent memory backing the new release, it can't be bad can it The answer is the game is a masterpiece that is a must purchase for every gamer on the planet.

To no one's surprise, GTA V is a big game. It even needs 8,486 MB of HDD space to install. This means that trying to do the Grand Theft Auto V review, while covering every been of content available, is both unrealistic and almost impossible.

Tons of content; including some surprises; Great Animation and textures; Too much content; Amazing fun; Story isn't repetitive; Voice acting and dialog

Booting the game takes time; Switching characters outside of a mission is a tad slow; Some pop-in; Hand-to-hand combat could be better

Even with everything I've covered here, there is still plenty worth talking about. If you ignore every optional piece of content thrown your way and focus entirely on the main story, you're still looking at an expertly-designed game with plenty to keep you busy.

That GTA V starts off in heist mode, with you and your crew already earning wanted stars speaks pretty loudly about Rockstar's intentions here. After enduring a long wait during which they've tracked down every official detail from Rockstar and all the unofficial rumors, gamers can finally go back to Los Santos and experience the story of not one, but three different main characters, namely Michael, Franklin, and Trevor.

Grand Theft Auto V follows the lives of three uniquely different characters, Franklin, Michael and Trevor.  Each come from completely different walks of life, but all share a similar goal, they want to make money.

should need no introduction - it's the fifth game from developers Rockstar North in one of the world's biggest franchises. This game took five years to develop, and has been splashed across almost every media outlet the world over - both games press and mainstream.

For all the controversy surrounding its violence, sexuality, and vindictive portrayal of American culture, it's ironic that the Grand Theft Auto series is one of the most mature and thought provoking in gaming.

Don't let the missing half-point fool you, Grand Theft Auto V is as good of a retail release you'll find this generation and an excellent coda to this generation for Rockstar. GTA Online and the expected DLC may well fix the few issues I have.

The Grand Theft Auto series has always been just as controversial as it has been innovative. Rockstar makes a habit out of crossing red lines in regards to both subject matter and technical limitations, and we've always sat and wondered just how far they would go with their legendary series.
