Test GTA Episodes From Liberty City PS3

Episodes from Liberty City Review

Some of the other negative points we noticed were the side missions and activities. As previously mentioned, arm wrestling in The Lost and the Damned is pretty lame. In the same way, managing the club in The Ballad of Gay Tony is only fun the first time you do it.

Returning to Liberty City with 20 hours of new content; Witnessing how all the stories interwine; The online component in The Lost and the Damned

The game engine is noticeably showing its age; Various graphical issues

Best enjoyed after beating Grand Theft Auto IV, this great double-pack of episodic content shows you sides of Liberty City you never knew existed.

If you've already played through 2008's Grand Theft Auto IV , you have a pretty good idea of what to expect in the formerly Xbox-360-exclusive Episodes from Liberty City. The included episodes-- The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony --take place concurrently with the original game's...

Two great and very different storylines; New vehicles and weapons freshen up the familiar gameplay; Checkpoint feature makes failing missions less frustrating; Lots of amusing references to original game's characters; Great value for money

Visuals are showing their age; Inconsistent frame rates; Separate multiplayer lobbies for GTAIV and both episodes

The Lost Ballad of Liberty City

on my at the time newly acquired PS2 console, I immediately fell in love with Rockstar (North), the "bad-boy"-developer of the video games industry. While I'll be honest here and admit that it was the revelation of the stunningly unique open-world gameplay at the time, and not so much their wicked...

Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City

Do you like Grand Theft Auto IV ? Is your only next-gen console a PlayStation 3? If your answer to both questions is "yes," you should already own Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City . If you don't, you'd better be dirt poor.

PS3 Review - 'Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City'

Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City finally makes its way over to the PS3, and it contains all of the downloadable episodic content that the Xbox 360 received earlier this year, which means that you're getting both The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony .

Extending A Grand Theft

Grand Theft Auto 4 was a huge hit, and really showed how to make a nearly perfect open world on next generation consoles. But by now most of us have solved that game, leaving poor Liberty City a bit disused.

Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City

After seven months of lock-up on the Xbox 360, two of Liberty City's most notorious denizens are out on parole with the PS3 re-release of Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City.

Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City

The Lost and the Damned drags you down to Liberty City's seedy underbelly and then The Ballad of Gay Tony recolors the world with flash and style. It's a great compilation, and the additions to both the narrative and the mechanics do well to compliment the aging Grand Theft Auto IV.
