Google Nexus 6P (Unlocked)

The unlocked Nexus 6P ($499, 32GB) isn't perfect, but it's the closest Google has come to fulfilling the wish list of Android users who want a true flagship-level Nexus smartphone . The 6P addresses every major issue owners of the Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 have had about their devices.

Excellent camera; Long battery life; Snappy performance; Attractive display; Loud speakers; Fast, reliable fingerprint scanner

Frustrating Power and Volume button placement; Some software issues in need of polishing

Great, but wares down over time.

I purchased the Nexus 6P a year and a half ago, and for the first year and 3 months it held up wonderfully. It had pretty average battery life, which lasted me through the day with about 10% charge left.

Good Screen; great camera; newest version of android

"Eh" Battery life; Screen pops out of casing (in my experience

Good design, poor battery

The phone has a great design and also performed well. The problem is the battery life shortened. The phone battery is also not user replaceable. The battery should have been more thoroughly tested to operate out of the warranty period to give users the chance to experience a good product rather than...

screen size; storage; functionality; responsiveness; design

Google Nexus 6P - Sprint

To those that like Android and want something with the direct approval from Mountain View, the Nexus line is held in the same regard and anticipation as any iPhone or Galaxy release. This year's Nexus flagship is the 6P, which builds off last year's 6.

Nexus 6P review

Update: You can still find Nexus 6P deals , but it's the last-ever Nexus phone, as the new Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL debuted in 2016. It's remains highly recommended if you can find it – especially now that it's been updated to Android Nougat . Original review follows below.

Nexus 6P vs Google Pixel XL

It's hard to get too excited about the Pixel XL given that it's such a marginal upgrade over the 6P. Sure, it has a new design a couple of extra camera features, more RAM and a faster processor, but it's also a lot more expensive.

poor battery life really disappointed with Nexus 6p

I had my Nexus 5 and faced the similar issue after 6 months.. Battery is gone almost within 6 months.. But this phone is having poor battery life within just 2 weeks of purchase.

Updated Software - Good performance

- Poor poor battery backup, with a minimal use , the battery is not even stand for 12 hours - Camera does not have many option - When there is no enough signal, it kills the battery like anything; - Screen Quality is not good as compared to the competitors

Horrible battery life!

I've had 3 different Android smartphones. I don't get a new one for 3 or 4 years. This one is barely 2 years old and the battery life is awful. Screen brightness all the way down, background usage and almost all app notifications turned off. Location services off, no wifi unless charging.
