The trick for me is spritz it on early, before going out, or the strong smell is overpowering. Once it settles some, it does smell fine.

This is a beautiful modern rose smell because of the blackberry and musk notes. It's feminine and sweet. It's not at all cloying or antique (like some rose scents can be). Definitely not a standout scent or something particularly complex but still gorgeous.

L'eau en Rose opens up on me like a big floribunda rose with the musk scent in the background. I could already tell when I first applied in the morning that this would stay with me most of the day. And it did.

This fragrance is fantastic and very feminine ! I bought a sample to try it and I liked it very much , and now I think I will be encouraged to buy it if it's price became lower .
