Absolute Garbage

5.0
Verdict: I bought this motherboard to build a PC for my home. The PC worked fine for 2 months and died all of a sudden. I have been trying to get Gigabyte to issue an RMA so that they can replace my motherboard.

Pros

5.0
Pros: Nice color scheme
Cons: None
Verdict: That's a really good looking board and also really performant with easy Bios overclocking settings. Easy Bios ROM update. Integrated sound card and Ethernet are awesome. Totally recommend this board, not worth buying the higher end model of this series.

Dead on arrival, quality lacking.

4.0
Verdict: The motherboard came dead on arrival. As you can find on reviews, the holes do not match the ATX pattern, so the motherboard is unsuported close to the 24pin input. The overall quality of the motherboard does not feel great.

Great MoBo for Entry level Gaming

4.0
Pros: Updated on Aug.2, 2016 - price raised back up $139.99 and no valid reason to do so. No real issues with Mobo, would consider the Gaming 7 over Gaming 3. Gigabyte has upgrade revision from 1.0. to 1.1 on all Z170 series mobo.
Cons: Heard some people had issues with SLEEP MODE. Either it would recycle ON/Off their computer or not at all. Windows 7 Ultimate works but please do not install Gigabyte Utility programs from their website as the produce some strange unexpected issues. Download only the drivers you intend to use.
Verdict: Wished it had 2- PCIx16 slots instead of one PCIx16 and PCIx8 which makes SLI / Crossfire run at x8. But I'm only using 1 - GTX 970 for now so no biggie. When I update to the Gaming G1 mobo in 2017 will get 2 - GTX 980 Ti's.

Excellent features, BIOS & PWM fan control somewhat lacking.

4.0
Verdict: There's nothing too wrong with these boards. Initially (just after release) it's been very hard to find online reviews of this particular board. But there's no question with the PCI-e slots layout and 2x full speed m.2 slot that this is a well spec'd board for the money.
