There are gamers out there that complain about "tacked-on" multiplayer components. The most recent example that I can think of is Mass Effect 3 (a game we haven't actually seen yet, so complaining isn't quite fair), and last year's Bioshock 2 and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

This Gears vault is awesome. It lights up nice I would tell anyone thinking about getting it stop thinking and just get it. Awesome price

All round a good game, it's a great change of game-type from your usual games on the market (eg. FPS, driving sims, sports, and RPGs) Those that have played either Gears of War 1 or 2, and enjoyed them. Should definitely buy Gears of War 3.

In the beginning, I didn't like this game. I had not played the previous Gears titles and as soon as I started I found the controls hard to get used to and clumsy. Fortunately I persevered, and as time went on Act I found I didn't want to put it down.

Forecast: Bloody with a chance of earthquakes by: aksobey ©2012 Kent Sobey For any fan of Gears of War the prospect of new DLC is an exciting one indeed. The Forces of Nature map pack certainly adds a few things that make it worth looking at.

After three installments and throwing countless hours into the superbly old school multiplayer, I've got to admit, I was more than a little psyched for this release of downloadable content for Gears of War 3.

Sometimes, DLC can be stunning. Rockstar is arguably the champion of the huge, transformative expansion pack thanks to GTA IV's Episodes from Liberty City and RDR's Undead Nightmare, but plenty of other developers do great work adding a solid weight of content to their games as well.

The end of a trilogy. As with movies as it is with games, so much pressure rests on the producer or developer to deliver something which not only betters the prequels in grandeur, scope and execution, but to also tie up any loose plot ends and deliver a final weaving lock to make the dress complete.

There is little doubt that Gears of War rests in the library of every shooter fan that owns an Xbox 360. When you see announcements that brag about 2 or 3 million copies sold, realize that Gears 1 and 2 combined has sold over 13 million copies.
