Overall, Gears of War 3 over-takes its predecessors without a doubt with a superb campaign, all backed up by 100 levels, and hours of monstrous multi-player madness. I'm struggling to fault the game, having had so much fun on it for the past week or so, barely willing to put the controller down.

Some problems with online community

Dont get me wrong with this. The game is great I could not fault it and for the price what a bargain!! Only problem being the condition it showed up at my door in. Holes in the actual box that contained the game and other items. But no damage to the items inside. Ive been fair but overall buy this!!

I really liked this game. I really did. So how come it's only got two stars? Because it's too darn short. I'm not exactly what you could call a fast player, able to knock off a game in a weekend, as I like to take my time to enjoy what's on offer.

this is such a good game brilliant graphics compared to the second one. improved combat, and on line is awesome i suggest if you`ve played the first two I would recommend you rent/buy (that's what I did) anyway go for it you wont regret it!! :P

I loved gears 1 and 2 and bought both on release so getting this was a no brainer. And its a let down I was after a grand finale and this isnt it . The multiplayer is identical to two and the campaign is just boring after a while, the graphics that everybody raves over are also nothing special .

Not Notch game all round, but for me it's like playing the first 2 games, getting a bit boring for me now and don't think I'll be playing the next one A+.

Minor glitch where some areas take a while to load

Gamers rejoice because its that time again. Time to head back into the fringe of war with Marcus Fenix and the Gears troop. In the conclusion of the trilogy, 'Epic' makes a statement with an impressive showcase of game making. Fire up those chainsaws, it's "Gears" time.
