As the final content drop to be included in the Gears of War 3 Season Pass, the Forces of Nature DLC dishes up a selection of weather-worn maps, new character and weapon skins, and a new (well, resurrected) game mode to flesh out the game's already feature-laden multiplayer component.

Competitive multiplayer has a very steep learning curve

What we have here ladies and gentlemen is a proper addition to a fabulous shooter franchise, crammed from top to bottom with content that's guaranteed to keep you occupied for hours. Gears of War 3 is a game you'll surely want to add to your collection.

This is the third time we play Gears of War and we still love it

The series has come to its peek and it's starting to feel a bit stale altogether

The end of a trilogy. As with movies as it is with games, so much pressure rests on the producer or developer to deliver something which not only betters the prequels in grandeur, scope and execution, but to also tie up any loose plot ends and deliver a final weaving lock to make the dress complete.

In Gears of War 3, players continue fighting as Marcus Fenix, the grizzled leader of Delta Squad. 18 Months after the fall of the last human city, the war against the Locust rages on. Meanwhile, deep beneath the surface, a fearsome new threat is infecting the planet from within.

After three installments and throwing countless hours into the superbly old school multiplayer, I've got to admit, I was more than a little psyched for this release of downloadable content for Gears of War 3.

Offers little new; Dialogue can be grating

Zigzagging through different perspectives is one of the tentpoles of storytelling in Gears of War 3 , so it makes sense that the game's campaign DLC would follow suit. But instead of hopscotching between various bros- and bro-ettes-in-arms on the COG side of things, RAAM's Shadow gets fancy on us.
