The worm has turned!

Blood, bullets and a hell lot of action That's what the much hyped ?Gears Of War 2 is all about. Kill or be killed for you are surrounded by mean Locust hordes sporting equally mean attitudes. Exclusively available on the Xbox 360, ?Gears Of War 2 promises you an edge-of-the-seat gaming experience.

This game is alot better than the first one. It is brilliant how they have also included training grounds where you can just fight against bots for a bit of practice. I love the horde mode also. The campaign (what i have played so far) is brilliant also.

Gears of War 2

Honestly even though 2008 is not quite finished yet. I feel that This game lived up to all the hype and expectations. Graphics and gameplay is way better. GTA IV did the same but I felt that game's hype was over the top. Bring it on for more great games.

Took all of the greatness of GoW 1 and took to another level again, with gorgeous graphics and a better gameplay experience. Storyline wasn't interesting as the first, but thats not to say it was bad. Multiplayer has improved a lot, but still has many issues.

Video games have become a multi-billion dollar industry and some video games are the equivalent of summer blockbuster releases. These games are usually highly anticipated and hyped to death. Unfortunately, not all these titles live up to the hype.

Improved gameplay from original; Better story and plot; Improved AI; Horde mode is fun as hell; Beautiful visuals and audio; Superior multiplayer options

Vehicles drag momentum down; Getting behind cover doesn't always stick

Cliff Bleszinski ( née : ‘B') may have spent much of the year talking about how Gears of War 2 has problems with its bottom, but the only piles on display here are the ‘of setpieces' variety. Immensely loud and dumb the series remains, but when playing it is so much fun, who needs Proust

Gears of War 2 is a fantastic game, with the Horde Multiplayer co-op mode being our favourite way to pass the time at the moment.

This game is a lot better than the first one, only thing with gears of war 2 is it's way to short. Other than that you can't fault the game.
