Becoming More Of A Passenger Than A Driver

Hugging dangerous curves and gunning it to grab first place as I cross the finish line is enough to sustain me in most racing games, but that's not the strong point of Gear Club Unlimited.

Gear.Club Unlimited (Switch)

promises fast-paced racing at the intersect of arcade and simulation gameplay. However, in trying to appease fans of both styles of racers, it excels at neither. Instead,

Switch Review - 'Gear.Club Unlimited'

Buy Gear.Club Unlimited Recent Nintendo consoles haven't been known for racing games. The systems have always had the best kart racing game series in Mario Kart , and the likes of Fast RMX represent futuristic racers, but those seeking more traditional racing with real-world cars have had to deal...

Gear.Club Unlimited Review

No no, no no no no, no no no no, no no, there's a limit

Customisation at least has some depth; Lots of events

Bland looks; Boring music; Pedestrian racing

Gear.Club Unlimited (Switch) Review

Gear.Club makes the jump to Nintendo's Switch with surprisingly good results. If you're looking for a "realistic" racer for your consoles, you'll want to have a look at this lite racing sim.

Game play and sound.

For the most part it look appealing when you look at the case. But, when you finally get the chance to play it. No music, barely and sound. And you disregard the simplicity of the menu and interface of the game. You think well at least the gameplay might be decent.

When it comes to video game expectations, context really is king. As the first thing resembling a ‘proper' racing game on Switch, Gear.Club Unlimited has a certain amount of goodwill stored up for it.

Yaaah, still limited

Gear.Club Unlimited is a good racing game, but it seems to lack that sweet, satin finish on the Switch that's so apparent on mobile

Gear.Club Unlimited Review – Is This Switch's Answer to Forza?

I'd like to be the one to tell you that is the Switch's answer to Forza and Gran Turismo, but sadly, I can't. It makes a decent effort to mimic those popular racers with impressive visuals and a huge map of over 400 races, but a serious lack of charm and dull track design makes it feel nothing more...

Great graphics; especially in handheld mode; Upgrading cars and shops is a nice distraction

Racing isn't very fun; Repetitive and boring campaign; Only 32 cars

Very good racing game, tons of tracks, Performance shop customizable with a lot of options, addictive... very good game. 35+ hours played and still can't stop.playing. I'm surprised!
