Disappointed-no GPS

Had a previous Garmin, Vivoactive HR-great watch, easy to use and had buttons. Vivomove has more widgets but NO GPS. Shop assistant said it was newer version of what i had and would be a good replacement. It doesn't have GPS and i have yet to record an activity usually cycling or walking correctly. The last watch had its own gps and gave great maps and data when i used the app on my phone after to view the data this is miserable in comparison and i feel duped.Either that or im not using it correctly?

Alarm feature

There’s a strange bug with setting alarms by Garmin Connect application (at least on iPhone 6s iOS 14.0.1). After setting the times of alarms (which is very easy) my Garmin Vivomove 3 doesn’t vibrate at the set times. Meanwhile there are permanent 00:00 figures on the little screen of the watch itself (in the proper directory of the watch’s menu) which I cannot change by any means — there are neither physical no virtual buttons to alter the numbers...

The Interface is lacking.

The clock is stylish , and I was planting to use it also as a stop watch but for a gadget Who does not have buttons, thus relying heavily on its Interface, severly lacks. The 60 Second Interface clock dissapairs after 4s....like WHY would I need a 60 Second count that dissapairs after 4s it defeats the purpose. Really dissapointed and feel like Iw been fooled out of my money. Work AS a Personal Trainer, so the timer function was important to me.

Great for a hybrid watch

I like hybrid watches that could be wear on other occasions than sport acitivities - like dinner, got out etc I do have the older version - Vivomove HR model on stainless steel version and here are the improvements: - addition of PulseOX sensor - body battery - a little bit larger OLED screen - even is monochromatic - more widgets - connected GPS I would have buy a version silver 100% stainless steel, pity that there is not available.

Just getting to know my watch

Just trying to figure out some of the features, but I do like having a clock face to refer to. I am enjoying the information that is showing up on my cell phone. I am just not sure I understand what all of it means, but I will try to look up some information on line. I am still trying to figure put how I can track my heart rate as I am running and how to see exactly how far I have gone at at the time I am running.
