Garmin Lily review

The Garmin Lily is a great-looking watch that's been thoughtfully designed with women in mind, but it's lacking some key features we'd expect to find in a watch at this price point. Smartwatches were once chunky, ugly things, but there are so many slim gender-neutral devices on the market now from the likes of Amazfit and Apple, it's hard to justify paying this much for a watch that looks nice, but does less.

Attractive design; Bright display; Superb companion app;

No on-board GPS; No contactless payments; Expensive for its feature set

Garmin Lily review: The smartwatch for women?

If you're after a watch that offers good activity tracking, is very small and dainty, and don't mind taking your phone with you when exercising, and recharging it daily, then this smartwatch has its share of positives. But Garmin's own range offers more features at similar prices, so we'd look elsewhere - accepting the result will be a physically larger product - to get more of the features that matter.

Accurate activity tracking; Interesting design concept with a nice-looking finish; Small and compact and lightweight;

Battery life half that of claimed; No always-on display option; No built-in GPS; Smartphone notifications pointless; Patterned lens is love/hate;

Garmin Lily Review

The Lily is Garmin's smallest smartwatch/fitness tracker to date, and its first model designed specifically for women. Starting at $199.99, it features an attractive, patterned face and a 14mm band that's much slimmer than most smartwatch straps, so you can wear it alongside other jewelry. More than just beautiful, the Lily can track health stats such as your blood oxygen saturation, calories burned, energy level, heart rate, respiration, sleep, steps, stress, and workouts. It also offers more typical smartwatch features such as phone notifications, music playback controls, and various widgets. It lacks a color, always-on display and several other features you get with Garmin's Vivoactive 4/4S, but it also costs significantly less. And while it isn't quite as value-rich as the similarly priced Fitbit Versa 3, the Lily is an excellent choice if you're looking for a fitness-focused smartwatch that prioritizes style and won't break the bank. Bigger Isn't Always Better Garmin sells tw...

Ideal for small wrists, the Garmin Lily smartwatch has a fashionable, jewelry-inspired design and many useful health-tracking features for a reasonable price.

Stylish classic watch design; Measures breathing, energy level, and stress; SpO2 sensor; Lots of useful widgets; Excellent companion app

No built-in GPS; Lacks a color display

Beautiful but not functional

I loved the idea of this watch, great design, sleek and small. I love that it looks more like a watch than most smart watches. The problems come when you actually try to use it. The display only turns on 30% of the time when I twist my wrist to see it. And that’s with sensitivity on high. It doesn’t allow you to track more than a handful of activities, and is a pain to connect to your phone before recording a workout. After all that, it often records my activities wrong. Went on a 5 mile bike ride, it said it was only .54 miles even though the GPS was on and it mapped the whole ride. The battery lasts 2 days at best if you aren’t recording any activities or using it much.

Great watch for small arms!

I did a lot of research before selecting the Lily. I paused a little over the cost but wanted a leather band and thought of all of the devices I have thrown away and decided to get what I wanted. I was concerned the color would be too dark but it is perfect for casual and work. I love all the features and that I can add or take them away from displaying on the watch. The only challenge is getting the display to turn on sometimes but I am figuring it out.

Beautiful & Amazing Watch!

I have only had this smartwatch for two days but I have to say, "I love this watch!" Not only is there a lot of great health monitoring but it has a very small profile. I am very petite but this watch is not uncomfortable to wear at all. It is very stylish and doesn't look like the others. It's a bit more expensive than a lot of smartwatches out there but totally worth every penny so far. I highly recommend the Garmin Lily Classic Edition!

Love it

It’s my first smart watch, so can’t compare to any other models or brand. I chose this watch because of the style. It’s small, delicate, soft leather band, looks beautiful. The features important are: stress level, heartbeat, sleep information. There is no feature among the options I miss. Highly recommend it, family members are already planning to purchase also.

Great Stylish Tracker

I have been using this for about two weeks now and I love it! Has just about all the features I want and need (though I do wish it counted floors climbed). I like having my phone on me so I didn't need it to BE my phone. If you are looking for a smartwatch that allows you to leave your phone at home, this is not for you! It is purely a fitness and wellness tracker. The display is fantastic, it's clear and easy to see indoors and out. If you want GPS tracking for you workouts, just keep your phone with you and the app open. The charge lasts for about three days for me. I check the time, distance, use the breathing exercises ect. quite often and have the display motion sensor on medium. Overall great watch/fitness tracker. Looks amazing and does the job. Wish I could give half stars because I'd rate it 4 1/2. A half star off for lack of flights climbed and being a little pricey. Worth it for a fitness tracker watch that doesn't completely dwarf my wrists. Would recommend.
