A great running and triathlon watch, with slim design, long battery life and now a much better price to go along with it. Although a little lightweight in nature it's more than good enough to function as a daily timepiece, and actually shows up some of the more 'dedicated' smartwatches.

If you're a triathlete in search of a new fitness tracker, the Garmin Forerunner 735XT is a clear Editors' Choice. If you aren't already signed up to compete in a tri, the 735XT is probably overkill both in terms of features and on your wallet. I'd recommend instead the Garmin Vivoactive, or the Garmin Vivoactive HR if you feel strongly about having wrist-based heart rate monitoring. The Garmin Forerunner 735XT fitness tracker gives pertinent information to triathletes about their sports, including advice you don't often see, like recovery time. It's comprehensive and easy to use but will set you back a pretty penny.

The best Garmin GPS I have used , super quick satellite finder , has all the features you will ever need and then some , I wear it all the time as a watch and personal activity tracker, press a couple of buttons and your into a run , cycle or swim .

I specifically chose this Garmin- as it was on the smaller, lighter side of things making me (I hoped) less aware of it when I was open water swimming. This it has been.

My Forerunner 735 has only lasted 8 months and the battery has refused to charge despite following Garmin's advice. Also Garmin product support is very poor; I just get emails from different members of staff telling me to do the same thing. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
