I bought the device back in March 2019, I knew I had a couple of trips coming up in May and June, so didn't use the device on the first trip and worked fine. On our second trip, it worked great on the way there, and before we left coming home, the device stopped working.

Quality of the Drive 51LMT-S unit is disappointing compared to three other Garmin GPS units I've previously owned (Nuvi 350, Nuvi 44 and Nuvi 44LM). Lenovo W520 laptops USB 2.0 ports would not charge to full capacity nor allow the unit turn on to show the map screen.

A smartphone link is needed for live traffic updates. This is a negative step compared with the previous model of this satnav. However, once set up it works well. The colour is good and the screen is bright. The suction clamp attaches to glass surfaces well and the swivel mount lets it move to where you want it. It is easy to manipulate and put in directions. The voice is a little mechanical. The only other con is the voice control.

I purchased this item but it keeps playing up, you would be going along following the sat nags route then it would just go blank and switch of even though it's been fully charged. So it's not holding its charge for no reason so going to send this item back and ask for a refund.

I bought it a week ago and tried in on a short journey near my home. It does't even pick up a simple postcode in UK and not even my home postcode. And it completely missed out to give instructions on a mini round about. Came back home and sent it back to where it belongs. Thanks

I really love this product for many reasons; the first one is how easy it is to set up and use. When I received the product, the first thing I did was update the maps. It took about an hour to download them. I had a minor problem while downloading - my device froze up.

No traffic cable even thought it has traffic monitoring : (

I haven't used the product I purchased from Halfords yet, but after their email asking me to review the product, here it is! The box open really easily and everything was nicely wrapped in protective plastic stuff. The power button is on the rear and has a cute little standby symbol.
