This is the one to buy!
Just go buy it, you will not be disappointed! Take it to your local golf course, go to the first tee, switch it on and by the time you've teed off it's ready to use. It just "walks" you around the course.

Garmin G6, if you haven't tried it, I recommend you should
I found the Garmin G6 Gps Receiver easy to use, pretty much dead on with the distance. With that said, which was wrong the GPS or the markers on the courses I play. But for the most part the Garmin was within a yd. I like the fact there isn't a fee to use it every year.

Well worth the price
Just used my G6 for the first time and I absolutely loved it. So many features other than just distances. Scoring, shot tracking, putts, GIR. The scoring feature includes course handicapping and even match play scoring, taking into account players handicaps.

Good Purchase
Just what I wanted. GPS pops in and out with ease by pushing on the button but seems securely fixed. I keep a lanyard around it anyway attached to my belt. Great for hiking. Excellent price from HD when you pick up at store

I especially like the feature that shows distances to hazards
So far this device has been all I expected it to be. I'm sure I have not use all that it offers. I especially like the feature that shows distances to hazards.

Great product
This was perfect for my husband. I debated buying a newer, more compact model but I'm glad I didn't. He was even skeptical, thinking he would have preferred a newer one, but then used it awhile.

Garmin G6 Approach GPS
I appreciate quality products.
Pros:
- Does what it says on the tin, also has good battery life and is easy to read in sunlight
- Very easy to follow instructions
- More functions than i would use on a regular basis but they can prove to be extremely useful.

Garmin Approach G6 review
If you're an amateur golfer, then it's inevitable that at some point during your round, you are going to misjudge the distance of a shot and ruin the chance of posting a good score on that hole - a particularly annoying mistake if your ball ends up in OB because of it.
