Fujifilm X-S1
The bridge camera market proved pretty buoyant in 2011, which just goes to show that these chunky cameras with their fixed but powerful zoom lenses still appeal to the general public.
Pros:
- Precise
- pleasant-to-use EVF
- Good general responsiveness
- RAW mode
- Excellent finish
- Good manual zoom
- Picture quality up to 1600 ISO
- Interesting EXR modes
Cons:
- Autofocus is a touch slow at telephoto settings in low light
- Heavy
- Image freezes slightly when focusing
- Picture quality could be better at mid-range zoom settings

Fujifilm X-S1 review Review
Critics may cite the fact that the X-S1 lacks a detachable lens as a failing, but that's shortsighted. The removable lens arrangement is one of the biggest drawbacks of a proper dSLR, as every time you swap it for an alternative barrel, you risk introducing dust to the sensor.
Pros:
- Long zoom
- Subtle muted scenes
- Punchy colourful images
- Fine detail in shots
Cons:
- None

Fujifilm X-S1 review
In our last round-up of ultra-zoom cameras we found that the best features were split across three cameras. The Canon PowerShot SX40 HS came top for image quality, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150 for performance and video quality, and the Fujifilm FinePix HS20EXR for ergonomics.

Photos- very good quality- probably becouse unlikeall hs 10-30, this one has much bigger sensor....lovely working zoom- the lens seems to be very heavy and professional, so that when you turn it goes very smoothly what is important when You record movies).

Great Camera
This camera is great, a bit heavy and large, but a real quality product - and more important it takes very good pictures. Lots of control options. From having Panasonic cameras in the past it has taken me a while to get used to the different operating system, but the provided manual is quite...

Pleasantly Surprised!
I don't feel like I am using a point and shoot when I pick up this camera and start clicking. It feels that good and responsive in my hands. I have only had it a day. I can't wait to get to know all the features that this camera contains! I sold a new DSLR to get this camera.
Pros:
- I received this camera yesterday and I have just started to dig into the feature set this camera possesses
- I initially checked to make sure it didn't have the blooming or orb problem.
Cons:
- The manual is printed but the print is very small so it makes it hard to read
- I will probably get a PDF to the UPS Store and get a larger printed version
- Not a big deal but it is an extra cost for a very expensive camera for its class.

Superb all-in-one camera
Purchased using the excellent J Lewis click & collect service. The most amazing feature of this camera is the range of the zoom lens. Being able to focus on items just 1cm from the front lens element and then to zoom out to more than 600mm without having to change lenses is for a DSLR user like me,...

Perfect
Make no mistake about this camera. There's no point spending this money without a reasonable knowledge of photography basics. I had a Fujifilm HS-10 before this which took some really good pictures, but it did have its limitations.
Pros:
- Durable
- Fast
- Great Features
- Great Picture Quality
- Lightweight
Cons:
- Focus Occasioanlly Crashe
- Slow To Save Raw Files
