Fuji X-S1 review
Always liked the idea of an all-in-one camera with a massive zoom capability, but hated the often all too-plastic feel? Fuji's X-S1 may, nay will, cause you to re-evaluate the humble bridge camera .

Fujifilm X-S1
The Fujifilm X-S1 is no ordinary superzoom. It has a 12-megapixel, 2/3in sensor that's far larger than what you'd normally find in a compact camera for starters. As much as the X-S1 is considered a "compact" – often described as a "bridge" or "superzoom" camera – it's far from small scale.
Pros:
- Great electronic viewfinder
- images are great (save for specular highlight issue)
- decent build
- manual zoom and focus rings
Cons:
- Specular highlights can morph into white dots
- autofocus not all it could have been
