Fujifilm X-Pro1
"Stunning," "astounding" and "gorgeous" images are the Fujifilm X-Pro1's claim to fame in test after test. Even more than its retro rangefinder styling, its dazzling photos grab critics' attention. But it's flawed. Slow autofocus, disappointing video and some flimsy bits harm its rating in reviews.
Pros:
- Astounding image quality
- Retro rangefinder body and controls
- Compatible with high-grade lenses
Cons:
- Not the quickest to focus
- Subpar video
- Feels flimsy for the price

I figured since I bought the camera through Vistek, I might as well post this review here. If you're planning on buying photo equipment, I do recommend Vistek. As for the camera... I've been using the X Pro-1 for a couple weeks with the 35 – it replaced a Nikon D80, many lenses and flashes, etc.

a brilliant camera - the closest thing to film I've had
Its a great camera matched with a brilliant lens, I've only got the 35mm so far. Razor sharp and with incredible low noise. When you combine this with photoshop CS5 noise reduction (one of the best features of CS5) you can go very low light and get a fantastic image.
Pros:
- Build quality
Cons:
- Battery life

Everything old is new again
I got this camera with the 18-55 lens a week before leaving for a 3 week trip to Asia. Having used SLRs for 44 years and digital since 2000 this was a learning experience. My goals in getting this camera were to have something that was lighter than a DSLR, easy to use and more hands on like the...
Pros:
- Good in Low Light
- Large Clear LCD
- Small / Compact
Cons:
- Lag / Shutter Delay
- Short Battery Life

"One More For My Collection of X-Men"
AN OUT-OF-BODY EXPERIENCE I wouldn't normally be writing about yet another camera, having only less than a year ago written about the excellent Fujifilm X-E2, but there are reasons, which I can justify (Well, to myself I can anyway!).
Pros:
- Solid traditional build
- Excellent lenses
Cons:
- Some viewing concerns for glasses-wearers

This camera have a lot of things to love and to hate, the vintage design are friendly, resembles the old equipment, Rangefinder not really one, the hybrid viewfinder have not the tiny prism for focusing confirmation as the real manual rangefinder as Leica does, instead of that, we have a modern...

An excellent product!
The Fujifilm X-Pro is an excellent camera offering the enthusiast a sophisticated, high quality alternative to a DSLR. The camera bundled with the f2.0 18mm and f2.8 27mm prime lenses is especially good value. The images are superb and compare favourably to my full-frame Nikon.

For Older style Nikon lenses
this works just as expected, but it will not work with newer style Nikon lenses. Older Nikon lenses where you can change the aperture work great.

Great camera. A modern classic.
I bought this new for £400 at the beginning of Nov 2016, I also got a very late serial No (54), the first No is the year it was made 5=2015, 3=2013 etc, and the second No is the quarter it was made. So a 54 was made in the final quarter of 2015.

Fujifilm X-Pro1
? Shooting with the Fujifilm X-Pro1 is really a kick. It took me back to the days when all I had were prime lenses, and my senses were tuned to the world around me such that I could anticipate which lens I needed before the action happened, and swiftly reach into my bag for the right lens.
Pros:
- Quality build
- Unique hybrid optical viewfinder
- Excellent LCD
- Good controls
- Excellent image quality, Quality build, Unique hybrid optical viewfinder, Excellent LCD, even in sunlight, Good analog control dials for quick manual, auto, or semi-auto exposure, Digital controls are well-placed, Menu is...
Cons:
- Limited to prime lenses (for now)
- Loose aperture ring and EV dial
- Mediocre autofocus speeds
- Slow buffer clearing
- Tripod socket too close to battery compartment, Proprietary lens mount, Very limited selection of available lenses, Aperture rings and EV dial are a bit loose, OVF accuracy...
