I gave my XP1 above average ratings but honestly though i'd buy it again. It has its quirks with focusing interesting dial placement but Fuji was able to improve (steadily) on most of it's faults. Focusing is a lot faster (still hunt sometimes) even in similar contrast situation. Really though...

Fujifilm X-Pro1
The Fujifilm X-Pro1 ($1,199.95 body only) was the camera that launched the company's X series of interchangeable lens bodies. That makes it about two years old, which can be an eternity in the technology world.

- X-Trans image sensor
- Hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder
- Sharp rear display
- Excellent control layout
- Sturdy build
- PC sync flash socket
- Continued firmware update support
Cons:

- Not a good choice for video
- No mic input

I figured since I bought the camera through Vistek, I might as well post this review here. If you're planning on buying photo equipment, I do recommend Vistek. As for the camera... I've been using the X Pro-1 for a couple weeks with the 35 – it replaced a Nikon D80, many lenses and flashes, etc.

Everything old is new again
I got this camera with the 18-55 lens a week before leaving for a 3 week trip to Asia. Having used SLRs for 44 years and digital since 2000 this was a learning experience. My goals in getting this camera were to have something that was lighter than a DSLR, easy to use and more hands on like the...
Pros:
- Good in Low Light
- Large Clear LCD
- Small / Compact
Cons:
- Lag / Shutter Delay
- Short Battery Life

"One More For My Collection of X-Men"
AN OUT-OF-BODY EXPERIENCE I wouldn't normally be writing about yet another camera, having only less than a year ago written about the excellent Fujifilm X-E2, but there are reasons, which I can justify (Well, to myself I can anyway!).
Pros:
- Solid traditional build
- Excellent lenses
Cons:
- Some viewing concerns for glasses-wearers

Fujifilm X-Pro1
Fujifilm's X-Pro 1 was announced at CES in January, just over a year after the first 'X-series' camera, the X100 was unveiled at Photokina 2010. At a launch event in Sydney, officials from Fujifilm declared development of the X-Pro 1 had started three years ago but the company felt it should wait...

Fujifilm X-Pro1 review
Ever since the Fujifilm X100 was announced in September 2010, many people suspected that it would form the basis for a potential Fujifilm compact system camera. After all, it made sense: the X100 uses an APS-C-sized imaging sensor, and it should theoretically be possible to remove its fixed lens and...

Fujifilm X-Pro1 Digital Camera Review
I can honestly say that the X-S1 is one of the most impressive cameras I have seen in quite some time, due to its incredible versatility straight out of the box. Technically branded a "compact" camera, the fact that it features RAW capabilities a 24-624mm lens that opens to 2.8 at its widest and...
